Dr. Temple received his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at the University of North Texas and completed his training in Clinical Psychology at Brown Medical School. He is currently Professor of Behavioral Health and Research in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Medical Branch.
Dr. Temple is a licensed psychologist with expertise in studying violance as related to substance misuse, technology-based interventions for behavioral change, longitudinal data collection, community and school-based studies, randomized controlled designs, program delivery, and implementation research, and he has successfully recruited and retained difficult to reach populations.
